“ I'm always excited to see what's on the menu. I've been here about a half dozen times and was just as pleased with my dining experience today as always. Delicious, creative, interesting, combinations of fresh ingredients. There's usually a cheeky twist on classic sandwiches. Today I had the Cubano Sandwich with Asparagus/Leek soup. There is nothing generic about this place. I always sense the love from the kitchen to the table. The servers are always engaging and genuinely pleased when you enjoy the food. It's a charming and affordable spot for foodies. I can say that at full capacity it gets very loud but if that's the only complaint, consider this spot a winner. Hope to get back soon. ”
“ The Reuben with cobb salad blew my mind with how good it was. The salad specifically was probably the most I’ve ever enjoyed a salad, and I’m not usually a salad person - so so worth the 3.50 extra to upgrade. ”
“ Best soup and biscuit in town...maybe in Ontario. we love the fact you have two hot soups on everyday. Your food is always very flavourful and consistent. Take home is just as good! Highly recommend popping next door and grabbing the potato bacon and frozen scones. Only complaint is it cold sitting near the door and its still pretty loud in there. best lattes in town too during Saturday brunch which I am addicted to maple pepper bacon oh my!! keep up the hard work people, we know food costs are high, we will pay for your great food!! ”
“ SOOOO GOOD!! Tried them for the first time and loving it!!! Will be back. (Pls you are not normal if you don’t eat pasta and grilled cheese after a good massage session) ”
“ I had a very delicious apple fennel soup with two tasty moist biscuits. Very friendly service reasonable prices I will be back. ”
“ Such a great and cozy place! Visited this afternoon with my partner and I had ordered their Montreal smoked meat sandwich the daily soup. Regarding the food, the soup ended up being the star of the show for my meal as I did find the sauerkraut to be a little bit overpowering for the sandwich (however, not something a little bit of removing can’t fix). The staff working there were also very nice and kind. I’d definitely come by for their Saturday brunches and have more of their soup if I am ever in the area. ”
“ I own an event planning business in Simcoe County and have had the pleasure of working with Alana Chef Mel and the incredible team at Eclectic Cafe & Catering for about 4 years now. They are our top recommendation for catering services for events both big and small. Working a wedding knowing that Eclectic is the catering team makes our job 100 x easier; it also doesn't hurt knowing that we will be eating some of the best food we will have all year. Our favourite part about the menu is that it is different every, single time. Chef Mel crafts a meal so specific to your "food memories" as she calls them, that you and your guests are left truly wowed! We love Eclectic Cafe and cannot wait to knock another season of weddings out of the park with their team. HIGHLY recommend. ”
“ I ordered the apple brie sandwich and it was absolutely 10/10—so delicious and unique, unlike anything I’ve had recently. My fiance got the turkey pesto sandwich and said it was just “okay.” He felt that each bite either tasted only like pesto or only like turkey, without the other ingredients coming through. Overall, the food was pretty good, but if I had to nitpick, the service could have been better. My fiance wasn’t offered a coffee refill, and we only saw the staff when we were seated and when the food arrived. We even had to flag someone down to get the bill. So, not the best service experience- but food-wise, my sandwich really stood out. ”
